Who should be baptized?
People of all ages can be baptized at New Hope. Non-members are encouraged to seek membership as soon as possible after being baptized. We baptize by sprinkling Holy Water to invite the presence of the Holy Spirit.
When do baptisms occur?
Baptisms occur during all worship services on select Sundays throughout the year. Private baptisms will occur immediately after the Sunday service on the selected date.
Baptism is a meaningful and memorable occasion, a sacrament of our faith.
How do I schedule a baptism?
All baptisms are scheduled by filling out and submitting the baptism registration form to the pastor at newhopeumclincoln@gmail.com. Please click on the link below to download the form.
After you register for your Baptism, you will receive additional instructions by email and be contacted to schedule a one-on-one meeting with a member of our pastoral team to discuss your baptism and walk through the logistics a few weeks prior to the date.
